Just Dabbling

Okay this is crazy...I'm just trying to liven up my blog a little. Haaa! I'm completely bored with the blog templates offered so I'm dabbling.

Sounds like there is some good news in the IF blog world!! I know a lot of us are embarking on HC.G. treatments ourselves...it works. Sew is proof!
Praise God for all the miracles going on right now!

I'm also waiting for the G.P. to get back to me about the thyroid blood work I just had done. More waiting....seems like that is all I've been doing lately...waiting and waiting. Criminey. I think I may take up some journal writing again too. A long time ago..I saw a therapist (I battled depression for a long time in my 20's)..and she recommended I have a conversation with Jesus in a journal (she was Catholic). I loved doing that. It was so helpful and it reminded me to pray and trust in our Good Lord. I had to think about how Jesus would answer my questions. Since this was personal, I laid it all out. I don't know if this would work for IF as it did back then but it's worth a try. I've also picked up some more good Christian love novels from the library. It's really great to read (albeit it is fictional) how these characters keep Christ in their lives amidst many struggles. I'm finding these books to be a better read then the trashy love novels I've read in the past. Gosh...some were so bad...I had to stop reading them. I really lose myself in a good book so when there's naughty stuff going on...I felt like a complete sinner reading it. Haaa!!! I've read some Anne Rul.e books where she depicts real life crime scenes..omg..I started having nightmares...I had to stop reading those too eventhough I enjoy crime shows on t.v.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summers. So far, mine has been rather quiet and I'm being completely lazy. I think the meds have something to do with that...so I won't take all the blame myself. :) God Bless you all....Amen...Amen.

  2. No not yet...I'm waiting for my current cycle to start which feels like it will any minute now. LOL! I hope to have that ultrasound done soon so I (hopefully) start round 2! How are you doing?

  3. I can't read crime books. Too much detail, and I can't go outside with my pup in the evening without feeling nervous. Give me a well written sci fi, fantasy, or ald-fashioned mystery, and I'm happy. Your idea for a Jesus journal sounds great!

  4. I LOVE the idea of a conversation with Jesus in a journal!! In fact I JUST HAPPEN to have a brand new journal that I hadn't quite figured out what to do with yet and a fancy pen to go with it! Seems like sign to me! So it's a two way conversation where you write Jesus' words as well?

  5. Yes, you write down how you feel Jesus would respond. I'm going to start mine tonight..actually. I remember when I did this last time...I had to think about how Jesus would respond. Sometimes I didn't like the response but I wrote it down anyways and then meditated on it...I just try to be honest and prayerful. God Luck with your Jesus journal.
