Talked to hubby
I got excited yesterday when I discovered that our insurance may pay half for out of network MEDICAL surgery. I told my hubby when he got home from work and he got all crabby. Half could still be a lot of money and not to mention other expenses that come with a surgery. He's on board with me getting checked out by a dr but he wants me to stay in network. Our insurance pretty much covers 100% in network for fertility and medical. So, I'm not going to look into this further as far as the insurance and Dr. Hilgers goes. My napro dr told me on Mon that he would look into a dr to do an ultrasound to see if I'm O'ing and he still has not called. He is bad about this type of stuff which makes my husband question this dr's methods. The ultrasound will have to wait another month for this Napro Dr. isn't back into the office until Monday (he only has hours on Mon and Tues) and I'll be O'ing sometime next week possibly Monday! My DH is not optimistic this napro dr we are seeing is going to help us. It took me to mention an ultrasound to see if I'm O'ing for this dr to begin to look into it for me. Why didn't the dr mention this a year ago? I don't know girls.....I sometimes feel like I'm educating the dr. So....I'll be starting the suppositories and in the meantime, I'll be checking around to find out which dr in my network can help diagnosis me. I like the Creighton Method but it looks like it can only do so much for us. Something we have to accept. God Bless!

The knowledge with gain with Creighton about fertility and our infertility is invaluable.
ReplyDeleteI am piecing my treatment using what I know from Creighton and what is available to me. :)
I didn't have my lap done by Dr. Hilgers. But I can tell you I was in the best possible place to have my lap done! Everything about the surgery was something only God could have provided!
Duh-But you know all of this! ;) Have a great day!!
Wow, it seems like you have fantastic insurance for in network providers. I will pray that you find your way to the right doctor for you very soon. Do you live in a big city, bc maybe you can research some doctors in other larger cities near you. I am sure you already did this. I think that Sew is right, you have the tools to know what your body is doing and when it is doing it. I think any good doctor will listen to you and respect your input. Best wishes. You seem to be a very surrendered wife. God will bless you immensely. By the way, today is so much better so far! Thanks for your prayers and encouragement.
