My weekend started with Adoration!

I finally made the effort to shut the tv off and attend adoration with my hubby last Friday. It was nice and peaceful. I prayed the rosary and read a few pages from a book I'm reading on getting personal with prayer. I , also, sat and thought of my life and how I need to get God into my life more. It was wonderful. After adoration,we went to Wal-Mart (after 10pm) and there were some interesting folk walking around. Hmmm....I was feeling somewhat uncomfortable. There were also teenagers hanging out in herds there too. Gosh...that's bad. Our little town has got to offer more to teens for a Friday night then hanging at a local Wal-Mart. Whatever!
Yesterday, we went out for dinner to celebrate my hubby's bday (which is today). I was still quite neauseaus but I had a good time anyways. I started some spotting which dampened my spirits. I thought the prometrium would stop that. Actually, the practitioner and Dr told me the prometrium would make me feel better....better than what? I won't complain (the list seems to be long). Once my cycle starts (should be in a few days), I'll call the dr and discuss my next option.
Today, my hubby and I hung out and did basically nothing, I finished a book. He likes quiet bdays anyways. We'll have cake next weekend when I feel up to making one (his favorite). Besides the neausea, I'm coming down with a cold. I hope by staying home and resting...I can fight that. It is still so cold out by me. I am longing for Spring! God Bless.

  1. How cool that your hubby and I share a bday! How old is he? Glad y'all had a quiet day together.

I'm sorry you are not feeling well lately. Hope you can rest and enjoy cake next weekend!

  3. I'd also like to add that my husband has been totally understanding. He knows I'm taking the fertility meds to help us grow our family. He feels bad that I haven't been feeling well and knows I'll make it up to him when I do! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband on this journey with me.
