Only One for 2011*Scary Update*

*Update* I thought I would share how this year 2010 has ended for us. On the way to adoration we hit a deer! We are thinking our car is going to have to be totalled. The damage to the front of the car is pretty extensive. There was thick fog patches and we did not see that deer until it was too late. I'm thankful we are okay. We got a good scare but we are fine. Now we may be out looking for a new (or newer) car. I'm just so thankful we are okay and that there were no other cars around. ****

I've resolved to making one new year's resolution. I'm going to Keep My Eyes on the Cross! I'm going to focus more on the Lord and my faith (I'm sure working at a Cath.olic School will help. I love looking up at the Crucifix as I work in the classroom!). Did I mention that there is a chapel on the same floor as the classroom? There is no blessed sacrament in there but it's beautiful and tranquil...after a tough day...I will find solace in there. :)

With the Lord by my side...all else will fall into place in my life according to His Will. Lord, I trust in You!

May the Lord bless you all as we leave one year and enter into a new one! Happy 2011!!!!

Btw: As you all know, I'm going to be busy being a teacher. On Monday, Jan 3rd, I will have 56 eyeballs looking at me and wondering what planet I came from (hahaha). I've spent a good amount of time over break getting my classroom together, writing and organizing my plans and sorting through what the last teacher left behind (quite a task). It's been exciting but overwhelming to think about. I will try to post and comment as much as I can.

Please pray for me as I begin this new life as a teacher. As always, I will pray for you too. You are all such a wonderful blessing to me. God bless.

  8. Oh my goodness, I am glad you are okay, but I am sorry about the car! I don't know why, but I just saw this update now.

How did your 1st day go at the new job? Tomorrow is the feast of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton an amazing saint, teacher, etc. She founded the 1st Catholic school in the US. I will pray for you at Mass tomorrow. Happy New Year! (And oh, I like your New Year's Resolution as well.)
