Merry Christmas my dear sisters in Christ!
I had the honor of praying for our blogger friend at Hebrews 11:1. I prayed the St. Andrew Christmas Novena for her intentions, I prayed for her in adoration, at mass and I prayed for her continually. I also offered up my suffering for her intentions. If you've been reading my blog you know I've had some disappointments with adoption this past Advent so I offered that up for her...which hopefully helped her.
This blogger is an amazing woman and I enjoyed praying for her and learning a little more about her through her blog. I look forward to reading more!
My Christmas has been awesome....really a true blessing. My dh and I had dinner with my family and his dad at our house...I cooked a fab meal. We had a great time and it was great to spend this time with family...it was all about love. This am, my dh and I went to mass and we had a visiting priest do the service. He was very inspirational. He passed around the infant Jesus statue from the crib...so we could all see what Christmas was all about. Jesus is about forgiveness, love and hope. I was completely touched by this small act...as each of us took a turn holding the baby Jesus I couldn't help but think about the true meaning of Christmas. It was a very good and blessed feeling.
So today we are just staying home and relaxing. I've got to clean up still from yesterday and catch up on laundry. Tomorrow, we are going to my dh's sister's house to celebrate Christmas with his family. It will be nice.
