My dear friend***Update***

I just want to ask everyone to pray for my dear girlfriend (39) who is going through chemo treatments for breast cancer. She is going through a lot. I went and helped her by babysitting her 2 year old last Friday while she went to get another treatment and then I spent the night so that she could rest and not worry about her daughter( I live about 2 hours away from her now). My friend lost a lot of weight and is trying her best to live her life like this isn't going on. She works out of her home (beautician) and she even had clients come on Sat (the day after a treatment)! I could tell that life is not easy for her right now and I commend her for finding strength. She is separated from her husband so he doesn't seem to be a big help right now. Her dad and brother don't seem to be coming forward either so she is depending on the help of friends. She can not drive right now either so she does need help. There is good news for her....the dr told her on Friday that she is cancer free now and the chemo is more of a preventative measure(unfortunately, it just makes her so tired). She had a lumpectomy back in Jan. So every cloud has a silver lining. God Bless.
***My friend just called me to say that she had a bad day yesterday but today was a lot better. She felt like she had some energy and did not need so many pills to keep her going. It was really nice out today so getting outside and enjoying the day helped her. Her birthmom is staying with her for a few days to help. Yes, my friend is adopted and has been in touch with her birthmother for about fifteen years now. For those of us hoping to adopt...we just never know how important that relationship with birth parents can end up being for the adopted child. Isn't that such a blessing that her birthmom is helping her in this time of need? Praise God!***
