An amazing weekend that ended with meeting another blogger!

First of all, my weekend started by getting the results back from the second certification exam that I took last month. I passed! Praise our Lord Jesus! I'm thankful to have that exam done and out of the way. I had to laugh when I looked at all the scores for the different content areas and the one area where I scored perfectly was in classroom management...um..duh. I'm a sub-teacher. That is what I do! Well, anyways, thanks to all of you that prayed for good results. Amen?

Secondly, last Friday I met up with some women who were classmates in elementary school! We all went to a small private Catholic School. I haven't seen some of these women since the 8th grade. We caught up and talked like it hadn't been so many years. There was some talk about children but not much. One friend told me about how she adopted 2 children...one was an open adoption and the other was her great nephew. She has an amazing relationship with her daughter's birth parents. She really encouraged me to keep pursuing adoption. I hope to see her again for I really could tell she was genuine and a very nice person to be around. It was a nice evening. We celebrated our 40th bdays (40's is the new 30's ,ya know). :)

Thirdly, I met Joy Beyond the Cross today! My dh and I were able to drive up to Madi.son, WI to meet "Joy" and her husband. They were there for a friend's wedding. We met up at a church near their hotel for mass and then we went out to brunch (which was fantastic, good pick "Joy"!). It was a glorious way to spend a Sunday. They are a very sweet couple and we were instantly very comfortable around them. We did not lack conversation. My dh enjoyed their company too. He admitted that he wished they lived closer. They also surprised us with a little anniversary gift. We were completely touched (thank you!). So...hopefully, our paths will get to cross again. God is good. Yes, God is good.

It was truly a blessing to meet another blogger. I don't think there are words to describe how much my blogger friends of have helped me carry this heavy IF cross. You guys have helped me in so many ways. Most of us are Catholic too..which means we have a special bond and understanding. We are all seeking moral ways to start our families which is in accordance with our faith...God must be so happy with us(He is...gosh..look at all the blessings going on in our little blog community!). I love that we all pray for each other too. So I'm going to send out to all of you a big Thank You and cy.ber Hug! It was nice today to give a real hug to a blogger! Many blessings to you all!
