Friday* Potential Adoption Update 1*

Tomorrow (Friday) the profiles (b/m letter and scrapbook) will be shown to "baby girl's" birth.parents. (If you've missed my intial post...check post below this one). I've been referring to her as "baby girl" lately...so that is what I'm going to call her on this blog for now (We have chosen a name for her already but that won't be revealed until(IF) she's coming home with us. My dh picked this name and I loved it right away! Is this a bad thing to do now?). The birt.hparents are being told to choose two couples (and they will have four to choose from). If we are one of the two...then we'll either talk to them on the phone or meet them in person. Then they'll make a final decision. That is okay with us. I can not imagine how difficult this is for them...so please keep them in your prayers too. Our sw is pretty confident they won't be making any decisions until next week. They do need to take their time. I get that.

So, for us...it's in God's hands now. We are thrilled to be part of this process but are also guarding our feelings as much as we can. This can go either way and it sounds like we'll know soon enough...so the wait is not too bad. We are just praying and completely trusting in God's will. He won't give us anything we can't handle. I believe that.

As we wait and pray...I'm going to work on the two projects I have to get done for the one summer class that I am in and I have to read two chapters for the class that I am starting next Thursday! My dh is busy finishing up the school year. It's all good. We've been waiting for this moment a long, long time so it's good. God is good!

TCIE: You are very right...this has been our 3rd "potential adoption" call in three months. There's also been some premonitions and prophetic happenings...but that is for another post. :)

LIM: Not sure how our cat feels about this. He's been kind of quiet lately and hiding out in his room. I laughed when I saw your last comment! Thanks. :)
