Building a Bridge

I feel better. I guess like everything else related to building my family and IF in my life...I just have to move on or like a saying I've heard a few times, "Build a bridge and get over it." That is what I have to do. Will there be another opportunity for us to adopt? Only God can answer that question. I do trust in Him. My dh and I will have to switch agencies...we just have a feeling C.C. will not be the ones helping us build our family through adoption. They always seem to give the b/m's as many profiles as possible to view instead of just asking her what she is looking for and showing her couples who could be a good match (is that too much to ask?). We were not a good match for this last b/m. We were told that she did not consider us at all. Oh well....I just have to move on. And I will! God is good...and He's been helping me to heal.

IF we get another call...I will ask if there is anything about us that will attract the b/m, do we have anything in common? Maybe we have to be more assertive and forthcoming before we decide to have the b/m see our profile. Just a thought.

We are going to put ourselves on "hold" with this agency until I'm done with student teaching (insert raspberry here). I hate that we have to do this but we all know it will not be a good idea for the agency to "dangle more carrots" over our heads while I'm working (I'll be busy and stressed enough). I'll be done Dec 8th...so at that time we'll move forward with exploring other agencies and looking into the foster to adopt route. I'll also be certified so I can start looking for a job!! So, positive things to come. I just have to keep reminding myself of that. And of course....I have to keep waiting. Patience Lord! I need more patience!
