Whew!

I can't say enough how thankful I am that this week is over! Woohoo!!!! I am done with the two classes that I took this semester. Last night it was -30 below zero with the wind chill so I was worried all the way to the university and back about my car not making it. Praise God it ran well. The presentation I had to do went really well too...and to top the good last class...the instructor asked me to email her one of the articles I used for a class presentation and paper. She thinks the article I found will be useful for her other classes and she thought my paper was excellent. That just boosted my confidence that I am on the right path with teaching. If I could...I'd give God a high five!

This past week...besides finishing school...I subbed three days(which is a lot, so far it's been really slow for subbing). Two days I was a sub-aide in a preschool room at the Catholic school where I attend church. This morning I got a call to sub a kindergarten class at a public school near me which is fine except I went to bed super late last night for I was sure I wouldn't get called! So, when I got home today...I crashed on the couch...got up to tell my dh to go and get dinner and then after eating...I fell back to sleep. Today is also CD2 which adds to the tiredness. I'm wiped. We also got 9 1/2 inches of snow this week and since it's cold...I just think I'm tired.

Well, I'm all done with my Christmas shopping...I just have to clean the house. I have to get started on the Christmas cards too. For some reason, I'm not really feeling the Christmas card thing like I have years past. It used to be exciting. I used to look forward to getting Christmas cards.... As most of us know...Christmas is another time of year that we are reminded of our IF.

I hope everyone is doing well...and I'm praying for you. God Bless.

  1. Congratulations on being done with class and the kudos from your teacher. I was just in the crazy weather for my surgery at PPVI; I'm very glad to be home. Keep warm and drive safely!

  4. I feel exactly the same about Christmas cards this year... I'm just not feeling it. I always love sitting down and writing each one personally (I like to make them individual, not just a blanket, "Merry Christmas" inside every one.) But I don't even think I'll be sending any this year. I'm just so tired of signing just our 2 names. It's pathetic.
