I hope everyone had a blessed Easter. My dh, his father and myself joined one of my older brothers and his children (teens) at my parents house for quite a feast. I definitely ate too much. Whew! This evening I've had a few snacks but that is it...and I think those snacks were too much. I do feel blessed to be able to get together with family and enjoy a good meal. My mother is a wonderful cook and she does enjoy making these meals.
I need to ask for prayers. A teacher friend of mine (who I sub for when she needs one) called to let me know that her twin grandbabies were born this weekend and they were early. There is a boy and a girl. Apparantly the family thought the boy was not going to make it today. It is very touch and go for the little guy. The baby girl seems to be holding her own but is also in the NI.CU. The babies are at different hospitals (I did not get an explanation on why) so my friend is going to go and stay with the baby girl since no one is there with her to hold her, etc. The parents are with the baby boy. This is a very scary situation and Lord willing...both of the twins will pull through okay. Please pray for these children and the families. I am going to sub for her while she is gone (I may need some prayers too.)
