**Called Dr's office and no open appts until Sept 17th which is too long so I asked to speak to a nurse. She was able to look at my b/w results from this am and everything was in normal range...no diabetes...cholesterol went down (yeah)...so I can rule out those things. She recommended I go to a prompt care facility (since I had dizziness for ten days) so my dh drove me to the nearest site and they checked blood pressure which was within the normal range...and did some other tests and came up with...an inner ear issue...the treatment? Dramamine. Yep. Good ole motion sickness med. They did say if it got worse, I lost feeling on one side of my body, etc...to go to the E.R. For now, I'm good with the inner ear. Thank you for the prayers. :)**
lightheaded. This morning at church, I felt weak and lightheaded which gave me sweaty palms. I did not want to pass out there. We were at a different church then where we usually go. I was pretty okay sitting but once standing...felt lightheaded and somewhat woozy and I ate a good breakfast! I thought about leaving but I know my dh would be worried and I didn't want to miss mass. I made it through mass but not sure I paid much attention. God understands. This has been going on for over a week (actually on peak day it was the worse). I've had "spells" while working out and I would just drink water. That helps so I just make sure I have water nearby. I did some research on Dr. Goog.le and it could be low blood pressure.....I am going to get my blood work for cholesterol done tomorrow and I noticed that the dr ordered a complete profile...so my sugars will be tested too. Diabetes does run in my family. It could be hormones or thyroid. My dh made me promise to make a dr's appt tomorrow. It drives him nuts when I speculate and I guess. It is what I do. I can't help but think it's hormonal.....which is causing this and I just don't want to take hormones ever again. That is when I put on a lot of weight...and I'm not going there.
Heart disease runs in my family too...so praying it's not my heart. After my girlfriend's dh died suddenly from low heart rate...I've always kept that on my mind....He wasn't that much older than me!
It never fails...whenever I get myself working out, losing weight, and feeling damn good...I hit a roadblock. Ugh!
The icing on the cake is that when I went to my parent's house to drop something off, one of their neighbors was over....and they had a newborn baby. Awe. I wanted to run out of my parent's house. My mom was talking about this woman's day and I'm sorry...don't care. I was polite but so not interested.
Yeah...like I said...roadblocks. I'm so over it.
Please pray my b/w comes out okay. I'll make the dr's appt but I know that won't happen for a while (she's just busy). hmmm....
Oh...if you could spare one more prayer for a family from my church..their mother just passed from colon cancer...she was fifty. She left behind a husband and six children. The youngest is 12. I knew of her from subbing at the school. God Bless.
Hope you figure out what's causing this so that you can keep moving forward with things!
