ago..today (May 11, 2002)...I said "I do" to the man I love before God and my family. I made a promise and it's been rather easy keeping to that promise...I just love being married to Mr.S. He is my other half. I love him more now than I did when I married him...eleven years ago. What we have now is so much deeper. I told a co-worker not long ago...I had no idea when I married him that our love would grow and blossom and overcome obstacles (IF) and be something I never could imagine. All I can say is Praise God and Thank God! Anniversary's are good days to reflect and to cherish what God has given. My dh is a gift. I can only look forward to our future and whatever happens...we will be okay. I can only pray society will try to cherish marriage as God intended..between one man and one woman. It saddens me so that so many women out there will not know this kind of love.... for marriage the way I (or we) know it is changing. Sad.
Last Thursday, I gave in my resignation. It was easier than I thought it would be. I guess I'm just ready to move on. I just pray, pray, pray, I made the right decision.
Happy Mother's Day to all of the mother's out there!
One last thing: found out last Thursday that I have a bone spur on the back of my right foot. It's huge and it hurts. Getting treatment for it. My chiro told me that I've probably always had it but wearing my snow boots all day while teaching and on my feet all day a few months ago was enough to get it inflamed. I guess that is what I get for being to lazy to change my flipping shoes!!!
Congratulations on 11 yrs! My dh and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary yesterday! I feel the same as you, I had no idea that our love could or would grow into what it has. Such a blessing. I hope you heel gets better soon!!
