A life thrown away

Literally...a newborn was found at a rec.ycling ce.nter near where I live.  He was not alive. How could someone do this?  I pray for the baby's soul, his mother and father and for all of us who have suffered or are suffering with IF.  This news has brought pain to many...related and unrelated.  Could you imagine being the worker who found the child? OMG.  So sad...so very sad...I just can not make sense of this.  We just have to keep praying for mothers who are expecting and do not want the child...may they make the best decision for the baby.  May God and Mother Mary guide them with love. I can't say anymore.

On a lighter note...looks my ins will cover the surgery and appts with Dr. S! Yippee! Praises be to God.  I'm so thankful for my job and the benefits it provides for me!  Praises be to God!

Also, my kitty is doing much better.  I would say he's a 100% now (i.e back to getting in trouble).  I just do not like watching animals suffer.   St Francis of Assisi...thank you for an answered prayer.

Such great news about your surgery! And yay that your kitty is doing better - it's so hard to watch our fur-babies suffer.

  6. Good Lord, how can people do that? I hate those kinds of news stories. I bet it happens more frequently than we realize!

  7. I wonder whether they abandoned a healthy baby because it was unwanted, or a dead baby because they didn't know what else to do. I want to believe it's the latter. So sad.

  8. Misfit...incase you go back to read responses to your comments...through testing...they are believing that baby was born alive and he was healthy, no signs of deformities or sickness. Still no leads on who the parents are. Everytime I hear about this story on the news...I just shake my head in disbelief that this mother/couple did not seek a loving home for that child. Ugh!
