Update 2 ...I had the ultrasound done and it does look like a little cyst ruptured...the tech told me that off the record...I'll most likely get a call tomorrow from the dr. It did not feel like a little cyst! But I'm glad all is okay. I have very little pain today...but my boobs hurt. Hormones. My cycle was light too...lighter than usual. hmmmm.....I can't wait to hear what the dr has to say. I'm guessing this will confirm the PCOS diagnosis. I'm thankful it wasn't worse and I'm okay. Going back to work tomorrow! ++++ Thank you for the prayers. I'll post again when the dr gives me a call. :)
++I am scheduled for an ultrasound tomorrow morning. Dr is thinking a cyst. Sigh...why can't my lady parts work out for once? I guess this my cross. I am offering up my suffering. +++++
Last night I had the worst addominal pain EVER! I have had four days of spotting...which is unusual for me. I've been feeling a shooting pain on my right side so I've been thinking that it's a cyst...remember...I've been diagnosed with P.COS. Well, last night...after taking Al.eve...I woke up after midnight with the worse pain and I was sweating. I got up and sat on the toilet (TMI) to pee and see if my flow was going to start (which it didn't). I did some yog.a breathing and went back to bed to wake up again about an hour and a half later...with the same pain...did the same thing..went back to bed...again..I woke up...this happened four times. I was like "WTH!" I didn't wake up the hubby for I knew he had to work...I figured I would be calling in.
WHen the alarm went off...more pain but I had diarreha....and I saw some blood this time. I sat down and figured to call in to work and when my dh got up I told him what was going on. I'm feeling somewhat better now...I haven't taken any pain meds....no flow yet...just cramping. I continue with the diarreha...
I did put in a call to my dr to see what she suggests and I had to leave a msg (of course!). Ugh! There's a lot going on with work right now so this is not good timing (possible stri.ke). I'm tired from not sleeeping well. I'm waiting for a call back from the dr...and I won't mention that our refrigerator is leaking water all over. Lord Jesus...please help me (us)! Please say a little prayer for me. Thanks.
Dr H is reviewing my file...Lord Willing I can have the surgery this summer.

ReplyDeleteOh no, praying! That sounds a lot like what happened to me when I had a large cyst that was twisting.
ReplyDeleteI hope that it isn't a ruptured cyst. I've had a couple and they were so painful, but I didn't have any blood.

That sounds terrible :(. I was woken in the middle of the night last night with awful pain, too - worst I've ever had with endo. I took two Aleve and after an hour was able to fall asleep again, and I've been fine after that. I assume it's a cyst; I know I have one. I'm planning to go on depo soon to shut down my cycle and see if that helps (surgery really doesn't help me), so I am hoping that in not too much longer I will be pain-free. But a RUPTURED cyst - no good. Praying that you get the treatment you need soon and the pain stops!!
