Prayers needed for a student *Updated*

**Update on sick student** The little girl was brought out of the paralytic state last weekend and on Monday, she was able to have some brothy soup. Sounds like she is recovering! Praise God! Hopefully, she'll be able to come back to a hsp near home for the rest of her recovery. Thanks for the prayers!****

There is a first grader at the school where I teach that has pneumonia...she got it so bad that they had her in an induced coma for about a week or more (she had an infection/fever and there's a possibility she might lose part of a lung). Well...last Mon they took her out so she was awake for a little bit but her lung collapsed again and she took a turn for the worst and well....she had to be flown to another state's children hsp. They have her completely paralyzed now so her body can heal. Please pray for this little girl and family. It's been tough. This is a very serious situation. I did not know this child. I will say that the outpouring of faith and love has been amazing. Families have been giving gift cards to help and next month, the school is going to raise money for the family. The hsp bills are going to be enormous...but for now...we just pray and pray.

I did tell my principal my decision to stay with early childhood. He is going to look for a teacher to take the fifth grade next year. He did mention that maybe the third grade teacher would switch..for he hadn't talked to her yet...but I'm not banking on it. I've put this in the Lord's hands and I will work towards finding a new placement. All will be good for I am doing the Lord's work. I have to laugh for the other teachers have been asking me if I'm going to return. I told the one teacher who has been my mentor and angel at that school that a decision has been made but I would let the principal tell everyone. I think that was a good answer.

Well..nothing much else going on. Just trying to find time to pray for my prayer buddy and find time for me (not to sound selfish). I'm still overwhelmed with work and I'm just trying to get it done when I can. It's been tough but I know the Lord has me here for a reason. hmmm...I just have to trust in Him and do the best I can for Him. Amen?
