Yeah...I made it through the first week with the children and I survived my first observation from my university supervisor (I was literally sweating bullet.s)! Woohoo! She thought I was really good with the children considering it's only the first week. We all know this is a "honey.moon" period so as the children start to feel acclamated and comfortable...we know their true colors will start to show. They are good children. They are so very cute. I just could hug and hug them. :)
Tomorrow...I take over complete teacher responsibilities! I'm psyched!!!!! I've done all the planning and my materials are ready. The teacher will be there to help and guide but she's going to try to stay out of the picture. The following two weeks...she's going to stay out of the room as much as possible. We are getting two new students so it will be interesting how they fit in with the other children.
Also, I have a new email...it's prayerfuljourney7@gmail.com. We are getting rid of our land.line and going for complete wire.less...and cell phone usage.
Hope everyone has a good week!
One last note...I emailed my creighton practioner to get a new chart and some stamps and she told me that I had to make an appt for a cycle review..huh? I haven't done that in almost two years? Geez....I haven't been following the "rules" that closely...I just chart now to keep track of my cycle length and to make sure I'm still ovulating..etc. Oh well...I meet with her on Thurs..should be interesting.
I'm so glad that student teaching is going so well! I remember being so nervous when I had to teach in front of my associate teacher!
