Praise God!

The cysts have disappeared! Woohoo!!! I had my follow up dr appt u/s this am and I prayed fervently for good news and that was a prayer answered. I'm thankful. Also...something else that I am thankful for is that this cycle I DID NOT need an A.leve until cd1. I had mild cramping on and off...stuff I could forget about when I was busy doing something. I got a migrai.ne-ish type head.ache on cd1 so that is when I took a pill. I did however get moody...my dh couldn't touch me unless I came to him. That was hard for him. I've never been like that before. But I'll take the mild, on and off cramping....that means my uter.us is healing??? I hope and pray!!! This was my first pain free cycle since the surg. Praise God. Now...to keep it that way. hmmmmm......

The next plan for this cycle is Clo.mid with a shot of Hc.g and progester.one. One day at a time. I pray this medicine regimen does not give me cysts too. I 'll worry about that later. Right now...I'm going to start the Clo.mid tomorrow...have another u/s next Fri and then it's shot time! Why is this exciting to me? Anyway...when is the best time to take the Clo.mid???? They told me it doesn't make a difference but I was wondering what some of you thought. I was thinking evening time since I'm home and if I get dizzy...I'll be somewhere safe.

So, now I'm going to pray a rosary in thanksgiving. Whew...what a relief. I was nervous and dreading this am's appt.

Last little side note: I asked the nurse pract about this too. Last month..I had horrible cm going on...but I had O pain like usual. So I bought the at home O tests..and it showed a positive. And then the good cm started showing up which I was fine with except the good cm kept up for three days after the positive result. I was like WTHeck???? She thought it could be the cysts...I thought maybe the meds I did the month before...we don't know but she said I could do the B6 or robatus.in...or if there's any issues...she had some other ideas...she told me to keep a careful eye again this cycle and see what happens on the Clom.id, etc. hhhhmmmm....God Bless.

  1. I think this is my 1st post here, but you & I seem to be on the same calendar! I just came off of an "uncycle" due to large cysts and had my follow up today w/ the same results as you. Yea for us!

I have no idea on the clomi.d. I haven't been on it for a while, but am doing it this cycle. I remember it really drying up my CM. The t.ussin didn't seem to help then. I'm trying to drink lots of water & evening primr.ose oil, though I have no idea if it'll work.

  2. Me again. Thanks for the comment on my blog (and the prayers – I assure you, those are reciprocated).

It’s a good thing you aren’t Southern. What, with all our similarities and apparently being cycle buddies this month, that might just be TOO weird!

With your dizziness I’d take it at night. It really doesn’t matter. I’ve done it at different times. I’m a fan of clomi.d despite my miscarriages, so long as you are being monitored. My first dr. (ob/gyn) didn’t monitor me. In 2008, I did 7 clomi.d cycles, but only ovulated 3 times (once he upped the dosage to 100 mg.) and of those 3 times, achieved pregnancy twice. As far as the miscarriages, I don’t know. Some think clomid can thin the uterine lining a bit and I did notice a lack of CM on it, but in my case I really think there are other problems hurting my chances (my sister struggled as well and had several miscarriages). There are lots of little clomi.d miracles running around (I’ve got 2 nephews to prove it) so I would embrace all the hope it can bring.

  3. Thanks Ann...I am being monitored. Next Fri I have to go in for another u/s...and then 13 days after I will have a blood test done for prego. It's quite a schedule to keep up with. This R.E. (I feel) is pretty thorough. Whew...just what I need. Thanks for your comments. I'm going to take the meds at night for this cycle and see how I feel. I did take clo.mid one cycle a long time ago and I took it in the morning. I don't remember it bothering me. Good luck with it this cycle...I'll be praying for us, and all the other bloggers. God Bless.

  4. i'm so glad to hear the cysts are gone and that you can move on!!! i never did clomid, but never had any issues with the femara, so i'm hoping the same for you! i always took it at night too, for what it's worth... my only real side effect was headaches, so i figured i could ward them off or sleep through them.

very interesting about the cm... wonder if you'll see any similariies with this cycle

  5. Fingers crossed for you. Why wouldn't you be excited about the shots and the Clomid? Perfectly reasonable. I would be, in your place. You're doing something. Holding thumbs (as a cyber friend says) that it all works out this time.
