Post Op Update***Stage One**

I had my post op check up this morning. Apparently, I only had stage one endo (I thought I had it much worse). That obviously wasn't the "thing" causing my monthly pain. It was the huge cyst I had growing on my left tube (or somewhere in there). The dr's assistant (who assisted in the surgery) showed me a picture of it. I also had one growing on my right side too. Besides the cysts and endo...I had the septum which they fixed and a large amt of scar tissue that actually blocked one of their little scopes they use to see inside of the uterus. They removed the tissue. They think that I had a bad pelvic infection that I never took care of. hhmmmm....I don't remember anything like that. Oh yeah..tubes were not blocked. That was one thing I DIDN'T have! :)
They were able to remove everything. Gosh...the assistant's comment when she came into the exam room was "Boy, you had a lot going on in there." You think????? So...they think my chances getting prego is much higher now. But we all know it's up to our Good Lord. I am feeling much better now and thrilled that it is behind me and medically I did the right thing. Next Wednes...I'll have an appt with the dr to go over the next course of treatment, etc. As always...I will keep you posted and thanks again for the prayers. This really is in the Lord's hands....I have hope now but not too much (after six years of TTC I know better). Praise God for all the positives that have come out of the surgery!!! Hugs to you all !!!! :)

P.S. I thought it was really interesting to see the inside of my "ladyparts". Wow!

  3. Yeah, I am so glad to hear that you got some answers. We sound pretty similar. I had around stage one-two endo and some cysts, plus, open tubes. Funny. It's weird how you can have a mild case of endo but still have severe pain. What a frustrating disease. I am so excited to hear how things go from here on out. It sounds like you're starting to ttc now with a clean slate. Woo-hoo. Bring on the BFP now ;) 6 years is just to long of a wait!
    Many prayers,
    Amber
