I had a follow up visit with the dr who did the surgery this morning. I think it went well. We discussed a few things. One is that I have a slightly enlarged gallbladder. I had no idea! He recommended I go to my G.P. and have an ultrasound done to check for stones. It's on my list of to do's. Right now I'm not having any issues with it but the future could be a different story and yes...a pregnancy could cause issues.
Also, we talked about clo.mid verses fem.ara...he thinks clo.mid does a better job and he recommends it over fem.ara. I talked about the drying out factor and he said that it could happen and if so, we can switch. This is one option...the other is the inject.ables.
He talked to me about go.nal F and ovadr.el? He said I can inject these myself and he thinks these will give us better success than the pills. However, I need to check with my insurance to see what it would cover. These drugs are expensive! Criminey....so, what are your experiences on these drugs? I'll talk to my dh about this but I'm sure he'll want to try Clo.mid first since that is the least expensive of the options. Hmmmm.....I told the dr I wanted to wait to do anything until I'm done with this class I'm currently taking. Lots of research , a case study, driving 2hours one way to the class 2 nights a week...adding hormones....add stress. Ugh! I just can not add one more thing to this class plus this will give us a month to try on our own! I'm really curious about the injec.tables and how effective they are, side effects, etc. The dr recommended 6 months of them if we go that route. Yikes. Thanks for your prayers and Blessings to all.
