Quick Quick Update

Well, first off, my dear mother is doing better!  Yes, praise God.  A few weeks ago, she had pain meds injected into her spine.  Horrible procedure to have done, very painful, but she is now having less pain and feels better.  The meds couldn't take all of the pain away but it alleviated so much that now she's able to walk, eat and start living her life again.  She actually went out to eat today for the first time in three months and this weekend we are taking her to church.  She has to use a wheelchair for outings since she's not strong enough for a lot of walking yet but doing so much better.  It's so relieving to see her spirit come alive again.   For awhile there, we were not sure she would make it.  Honestly.  I'm thankful that I am near to help and can be a good and faithful daughter.  I've been blessed with good parents, now it's my turn to pay them back.  Amen?

As for adoption news, we are still in contact with the young expectant mom.  She's got a lot going on and is honestly not sure what she wants to do.  It's been a very emotional journey thus far.  We are now in the third trimester and I'm pretty sure we are not going to know anything for sure until she delivers.  The agency tells us that is typical for an expectant moms to be uncertain and waver, etc.  So, we are taking it one week at a time and praying and trusting in God's plan for us.  Please keep her in your prayers as always.  She needs them.  Please pray for the health of the baby as well.
