I am so thankful a young woman has chosen life!
I am so thankful she is brave and strong.
I am so thankful her boyfriend (baby's father) is supporting her during this difficult time.
I am so thankful she is thinking about the future, going to school, working...
I am so thankful the baby is healthy (grow baby grow!)
I am so thankful she is managing as best as she can with pregnancy sickness...complete exhaustion ..please pray for this young woman!
I am so thankful she is thinking about the future....
So thankful she has CHOSEN us to be POTENTIAL adoptive parents of her baby!
We got that call.
Baby Due July 2015
Right now we are just letting all of this sink in and praising God. We are also learning how to support this young woman. She is suffering with pregnancy sickness and all of the emotions that she has to deal with. We are taking "baby" steps. Please pray for this young woman, the father, my dh and I and of course...the baby...as we all begin what could be the start of a beautiful journey.
Nothing is unexpected with God. I trust in Him and know that this is part of His greater plan for us.

I wasn't going to check the blogs before going to bed, but for some reason I clicked on yours and I think it was the Holy Spirit giving me the nudge. PRAISE GOD! PRAISE GOD! PRAISE GOD! Grow, baby, GROW!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the best news I have heard all day. I am so excited for you!!!! I will add you and the baby and the mom/dad to my Lenten prayers. I can't stop thanking God!!!

ReplyDeleteMy 17yo niece is going to give birth to a baby in a few weeks who will be adopted. All I could say to her when she told me the news of the pregnancy was how proud of her that she had chosen life and done the right and hard thing. There is a lot of pressure on these special girls to go the other way and I'm so happy your baby's mama found you and your husband. God bless and continued prayers.
I did thank this young woman for choosing life. I'll have to keep reminding the young woman about how strong she is...even though now she feels pretty weak. Thank you for the kind words.
