12 Blessed Years.

Happy 12th year Anniversary to the man I will love forever.  I feel so blessed to share this journey of life with the man God brought into my life.  Over the years, we have grown stronger in love, faith and life.  Thank you Lord!!!

The other day I was thinking about being chosen and how we are waiting for an expectant mother to choose us to parent her child.  I rarely get chosen (remember being the last one to get called to join a soft ball team at gym in grade school.  Funny how those things are not forgotten.).  It's been that way all of my life.  But then God spoke to my heart and said "You have been chosen."  I've been chosen by my dh, I've been chosen by God, I've been "chosen" in so many other ways.

So, on this day of celebrating our love...I'm also celebrating being chosen.  Thank you Lord for choosing me!


Today we also celebrated Mother's Day with my mom who is an incredible mother and we are both very thankful that our priest did the Mother's Day blessing at the end of mass when everyone was standing up.  We are going to send him a nice thank you for remembering those where today is not a happy day for everyone (hence the lonely husband and children who just lost his wife/mother last week to cancer).
