Before I ramble quickly, I would like to mention that for Advent I prayed for Emily at signedsealeddeliveredimyours.blogspot.com. I not only prayed for her intentions but I offered up the sufferings of my job for her intentions. I hope she felt my offerings!
Well...I hope everyone had a very merry and blessed Christmas. I know JBTC and her dh are just thrilled with their little blessing. I certainly can say that my Christmas was not quite that exciting. I never did get into the spirit. I usually get excited about this time of the year...not this year. I am enjoying this Christmas break and I just do not want to think about returning to work. Horrible huh?
For some highlights I have watched some good movies (including W.ar Hor.se which was excellent)...and we did get to go bowling. My brother came in from FL so it's been nice spending time with him. My break isn't over yet so I'm still working on savoring every single minute of it! I'm also enjoying spending this extra time with my dh and kittens. They just make me smile.
It hasn't been a bad Christmas...and I am thankful we are healthy and I got to spend another Christmas with my parents (who are older) and my family. There were a few glitches with the Christmas dinner we hosted. Just glitches with the guests, not the food. Ugh! Anyways...as always I work at concentrating on the positives. My dh and I are definitely going to do the dinner differently next year if we host it again.
