Looks Good!!!

I talked to the principal at that Catholic School a few hours ago (I would have posted sooner but I ate dinner and fell asleep)...and it looks like I'm going to be teaching the 5th grade when I am done student teaching (it's an position until the end of the school year)! Praise God!!! Sure I'm Earl.y Child.hood...but this is an opportunity to teach in a place where I belong...in a place Jesus wants me to be. This job is a stepping stone, foot in the door, etc, etc. So many teachers are without jobs around here...so I truly feel blessed. The principal feels fairly certain I'll get a younger grade next year. It's not all about the money for me...it's about doing the Lord's work by teaching His children.

Thank you Jesus!!!!!

A good LOL moment...yesterday my sweet little darlings were being anything but sweet...and of course my university supervisor comes in to observe. *sigh*. She came down kind of hard on me...she did mention she knows I'm working hard...but she said I need to change my tone of voice. *sigh* Okay..how do I do that when all they respond to is a good firm directive? *sigh* Anything that could go wrong...did. But I'm smiling now! :) Today was somewhat better (marginally).

Now...back to lesson plans and the challange of getting my 2nd graders to stop arguing with me about EVERYTHING! (I'm still smiling)..hehehe.

God bless you all and as JBTC says "Go Forth and Be a Saint!" :)
